Fitness Centre Transformation: Bigger and Better Premises

By August 4, 2014 No Comments

Here we grow again! It’s more than a new space – it means many new features to help improve your fitness lifestyle.

Warwick Women’s Workout has moved into bigger, brighter rooms at the Warwick Leisure Centre in Perth.

WWW first launched in February 2012. Yet recently, after a weekend of preparing and what seemed like a thousand tasks completed… we are ready to head into a whole new era for WWW! What does this mean for our dedicated clientele? Plenty!

Bigger and Better Women Workout Facility Perth

New, improved equipment

With this slight change in venue, we have been able to increase our range of cardio machines in to now include 4 treadmills, 2 cross trainers, 1 recumbent bike and 1 spin bike and a rowing machine. We also expanded and improved our circuit and installed four fans for improved air circulation.

The usual circuit of hydraulic machines and recovery boards will still remain central as to what we offer for cardio and strength training for all ages and fitness levels. The resistance on each machine can be adjusted so you get an individualised workout to suit your needs.

Hooping it up!

A special cardio, back and abdomen tool you may not be aware of is the hula hoop. It’s a simple, but effective tool that gives a great low impact workout. We offer both a large and small hoop for your waist and arm hoops, too, so you have lots of opportunities to mix and match your workouts.

Weight for it

We’re proud to have added a small tower of dumbbells. With a range of free weights weighing from 500gm – 10kgs, we can also provide our clients a wide range of strength training routines as an alternative to the circuit. The lighter weights are ideal for those recovering from injuries or those who want to start out slowly.

Branching out

As a result of adding all this great new equipment, it was necessary to expand the floor space by 50% (up from 100sqm to 150sqm). This allows plenty of room for the circuit as well as any extras. It’s important to us to know our clients are having fun and are comfortable when working out. With the added space and equipment, our aim is to make each day in the gym a breeze.

A fitness community exclusively for women like you

Warwick Women’s Workout is now well positioned within the Warwick centre in relation to the expansion project to commence later this year. As Warwick Leisure Centre grows with a new entry foyer, café, fitness areas and four additional sports courts, Women’s Workout will have direct access off the new foyer, with close proximity to the café.

As an extra special touch, the Centre now offers all of our gym members free WiFi access. Personal training sessions are complimentary after members have been attending consistently and are reviewed regularly.

Warwick Women’s Workout have also extended our morning operating hours by one hour each day to provide greater flexibility and access for members. Please note, our new operating hours are Mon-Fri, 6:00am-12:00pm & 2:00pm-7:00pm; Sat, 7:00am-12:00pm.

For those gym members who have young children, our crèche, called The Ark, will be available between 9:00am and 12:00pm weekdays. This service is only accessible to parents who stay on the premises whilst being involved in leisure activities or sports.

Going forward

With our brand new factory fresh equipment in place, extra floor space and expanded hours, it’s our goal to provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment for women of any age to keep fit and achieve their weight-loss goals.
