Debbie Carastathis

My name is Debbie and I have been attending Warwick Women’s Workout for about 3 years now. Probably, like most of you, I have had my ups and downs but tried to attend least 2 to 3 times a week.

At the end of last year I noticed the weight and inches were coming off and I could FEEL the progress I had made. Then out of the blue in February I sustained an ankle injury which got progressively worse. After seeing a podiatrist and having an ultra sound it confirmed I had a major tendon damage. Subsequently I could not attend WWW and walking was out of the question.

Well I have to tell you in just a few months of not being able to attend the gym I am sad to say the inches and weight have crept back on. I’ve noticed my sense of well – being and feeling fit and lively has declined too.

I want to share this with you to help encourage you to keep at it, as the difference between going to the gym and not going is quite substantial. So if you’re feeling to hot, too cold, too busy, too tired or even too old, stop and think how you will FEEL if you don’t keep going.
