Warwick Stadium Mission
To serve the community with high quality, safe and non threatening Sport and Leisure activities at an affordable price.
Warwick Women’s Workout Profile
… is operated by the Churches of Christ Sport and Recreation Association Incorporated
… is located in a Sport and Leisure Stadium located in the Northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
The Warwick Women’s Workout facilities are described under “our facilities” tab.
We are a circuit gym operating continuously. When you arrive, you find a place on the circuit and join in. You stay for 30 minutes, if that’s all you have time for, then leave, or you may spend some more time on one of our aerobic machines, whatever suits you.
Our lovely staff are all well qualified and are available to assist you with a modified program to accelerate your fitness, or work around an issue or injury. They can also assist you with nutrition and weight loss advice.
At different times on the circuit, they work with everyone adding extra aerobic activity into the circuit, or doing Tabata sessions.
BUT, at the end of the day, you are the one in control, you can work hard, or take it a bit easier.
Our main purpose is to provide a safe, encouraging and nurturing environment for women of all ages. We are not a gym exclusively for the super slim and super fit. We are all ages, all shapes all sizes, and a diverse ethnic mix. We are serious about your health, nutrition, fitness and wellbeing, but at the same time we are women… we look out for each other, we chat, we laugh, we cry together… we are genuine community, we care for you and inevitably the community cares for each other.
Additionally (maybe for your children, or to broaden your interests)
The Sports Stadium has 8 indoor sprung floor courts used for Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Badminton and multi sports.
The Stadium also has a range of rooms for booking opportunities: A function room, exercise room, board room and a meeting room.
The crèche is well equipped and operates in support of other programs.
We operate a well equipped cafe including excellent coffee and a range of foods, both hot and cold.
Ethos of the whole centre
The Centre operates with Christian values, which when we really get down to it are just good values for life and living with each other – “treating people the way that we like to be treated ourselves”. We believe that size, gender, race, creed or age do not make us superior or inferior to the other. We do not tolerate domineering, rude or bullying behaviour, but seek to encourage an environment for sport, fitness and recreation that is safe and non threatening.
